Elon Musk says ‘America Party’ will embrace Bitcoin because fiat is hopeless
Elon Musk has recently stated that his planned political party, the ‘America Party,’ will include Bitcoin in its platform. This announcement was made after a question on social media platform X, where Musk showed doubt about traditional money and said he prefers cryptocurrency.
The concept of the ‘America Party’ came from Musk’s dissatisfaction with a recent $3.3 trillion spending bill signed by former President Donald Trump, which Musk publicly disagreed with.
He announced this after a public poll on X showed that many of his followers support the creation of this new political party. The initiative according to Musk, seeks to offer a different option to the current Democratic-Republican political scene in the United States.
Musk has made strong statements about the party and its ideas, but so far, there are no clear actions taken to officially start it.
