Bitcoin dumps below $100K
President Donald Trump stated that the US military carried out airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites (Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan}. This represents a major increase in the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel.
The military action took place late Saturday after a two-week diplomatic deadline ended. This happened due to worries about failed talks on Iran’s nuclear program.
After the airstrikes, Bitcoin saw a significant change, falling to $101,000 on Binance before quickly bouncing back to over $103,000.
Trump said that all US planes involved in the operation left Iranian airspace safely and were coming back home by Sunday morning.
The airstrikes follow recent Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear sites, increasing tensions in the area.
