GoChat and HiU Messenger round out the list of widely available licensed options, while Zoom and Microsoft Teams remain permitted and commonly used for enterprise and educational settings specifically.
For calling outside an app, when the person on the other end has no smartphone or app installed at all, a different category of service is needed, one that terminates the call as a real ringing phone call on a landline or mobile network abroad rather than app-to-app. Several UAE-licensed international calling services offer this specifically for calling family members on older phones.
How to Actually Set This Up

Activation is usually immediate. Why a VPN Is Not the Answer
