This surge was caused by a tweet from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. Vitalik supported a ZKsync post emphasizing Ethereum’s incorruptibility.
The new buzz over ZKsync stems mostly from the Atlas improvement to its ZK Stack. This improvement is primarily intended to improve infrastructure for businesses and institutions.
A crucial part of the Atlas upgrade is the new high-performance sequencer. It can process up to 30,000 transactions per second while remaining fully compatible with Ethereum.
