The UAE has launched a new national tourism platform that tries to turn seven emirates into one bookable trip. The idea is straightforward. The booking experience is more traditional than the launch headline makes it sound.
The UAE Grand Tour platform was unveiled on September 16 alongside the new federal Visit UAE tourism identity. The Ministry of Economy and Tourism says the platform is designed to offer multi-emirate itineraries of up to 14 days and enable travellers to search for programmes and book through tourism-sector partners.

Robius checked the live platform on September 17. It is not a simple fixed-price marketplace where every trip immediately shows a fare beside a “buy now” button. The site is closer to a structured tour-planning and booking engine: choose a journey, dates, travellers and currency, then move through the booking flow as availability and pricing are resolved.
What Is Actually Live
The platform currently presents multiple pre-built journeys including Grand Classic, Grand Adventure, Grand Eco Friendly, Grand Wellness, Grand Family, Grand Culture & Heritage and Grand Beach.
The routes combine several emirates rather than treating Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah as separate city breaks. The Grand Classic, for example, is listed as an 11-day, 10-night itinerary covering Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Each journey page includes a day-by-day itinerary, accommodation examples, included meals, transport, attractions and exclusions. That is useful because packaged tours often hide important detail behind a generic “seven emirates” label.
The Price Is Not a Static Headline Number
On the live Grand Classic page, the platform asks for a travel date, traveller count, room configuration and currency before resolving the total price. The site itself summarises the model with the line that the journey is “priced only when it is really yours.”
That means travellers should not expect one universal advertised price for an itinerary regardless of season, rooming or availability. The final number depends on the booking inputs and the package available for the selected dates.
This is normal for many multi-day travel packages, but it means comparison takes more work than checking a fixed package price in a headline or social-media post.
What the Grand Classic Says Is Included

The Platform Is Also a Distribution Layer
The Ministry says the UAE Grand Tour was developed with Rocket International, tourism authorities across all seven emirates and private-sector operators. It is designed not only for travellers but also for tour operators and travel agents building integrated programmes for international markets.
That explains why the site feels partly like a destination guide and partly like a tour-operator engine. It is trying to connect destinations, hotels, attractions, transport and package distribution in one system.
What to Check Before Booking
- Exact hotels: some accommodation is described as a named hotel “or similar.” Confirm the final property before paying.
- Cancellation terms: read the platform’s cancellation and refund rules for your specific booking.
- Tourism Dirham: the Grand Classic page excludes this hotel charge from the package price.
- Insurance: travel insurance is also excluded from that itinerary.
- Visa requirements: the platform does not change visa eligibility; check the rules for the traveller’s nationality.
- Final inclusions: compare the paid booking confirmation against the itinerary shown before purchase.
